Dear colleagues,

On the 14th day of April of 2006, in the city of São Paulo, Professor MIGUEL REALE, the honorary President of ABRAFI - Brazilian Association of Philosophy of Law and Sociology of Law, and Honorary Presidents of the IVR - Internationale Vereinigung für Rechts - und Sozialphilosophie, passed away.

Aside from meriting our unanimous recognition as being the most important Brazilian thinker, graced with originality and greatness in his scientific production in General Philosophy, and especially in Juris-philosophy, Miguel Reale represents the culmination of the most expressive movement in the history of thinking of the 20th century, with the Phenomenological Culturalism that penetrated all traditions of Ibero-American thinking.

ABRAFI, on behalf of its President, summons all its associates, along with the IVR associates, to join together in paying homage to Professor Miguel Reale.
