Plenary Sessions

Most plenary lectures are published in the journal Associations. These published papers (except Professor Aleksander Peczenik's introduction to the volume) are, due to copyright reasons, not available on the Internet. The lectures were however included in a printed volume distributed together with the Congress dossier. Revised versions of plenary lectures may be published, after the congress, in the congress proceedings.

The printed plenary lectures included in the Congress dossier was published as a special number of Associations.

Associations is an international journal for theoretical problems in the legal and social sciences that publishes contributions in English and in German. The particular intention of the journal is to generate theoretical dialogue between these disciplines. The journal is issued twice a year, edited at the Research Institute for Social Sciences, University of Tampere, Finland, and published by Duncker & Humblot in Berlin, Germany. The journal offers to the reader an open, unprejudiced forum, a public platform for discussion about the central issues in social and legal theory aiming at inciting further dialogue, discussion and debate.
